True to the Initial Space-Saving Bunker Bed Concept

Each bunker bed only occupies the floor space and width measurement of the lower unit, be it the width of a single bed, a three-quarter bed, or double bed, as is the case with an Ericssons’ Canterbury tri-bunk. This bunk bed sleeps three persons simultaneously and features a much wider, double-sized bottom bed that’s capable of comfortably accommodating two adults sleeping side-by-side.
Bunk Bed Options
As is typical of bunker beds, the narrowest option, traditionally a single bed, is the upper or top bunk, positioned permanently or in one version – the Milano tri bunk – temporarily above the lower bed. This double bunk bed provides one with the option of removing the top bunk completely for use as a separate single bed.

While the bunk bed is located at the top of each unit, which is also accessed with a ladder, the area below features an integrated desk, with a full back cover that’s equipped with a narrow shelf that doesn’t impinge on the desktop’s working space.

All of our bunker bed options come with a ladder for easy access to the upper bed. These ladders are also made from solid furniture-grade pine, making them strong and sturdy. In addition to the ladders, each bunker bed comes fitted with a guard railing for additional safety and peace of mind that your child will not roll off the top bunk.
